Flex MSE interfaces with Geogrid in two ways:�

✔️ Grid under the interlocking plate�
✔️ Grid over the interlocking plate

Both methods have been rigorously tested and perform equally well—in fact, the Geogrid fails before the plate does! So, if you trust your grid, you can trust that the Flex MSE face will stay exactly where it should.

* Important Design Note:�For any wall exceeding 4 feet (1.2m) or any wall with potential loading, a Geotechnical Design with Geogrid will most likely be required to ensure long-term performance and stability.

Building Smarter & Greener at Firehall #8 in Burnaby! 🚒🌱🏗️

This impressive 7m-high Flex MSE wall, installed at a steep 6V:1H slope, is part of the Firehall #8 project in Burnaby. With property line constraints at the top, the city needed the steepest vegetated system possible - Flex MSE was the natural choice!

Using the Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) method, this project is being completed faster and leaner while ensuring long-term resilience. A huge thank you to Whitecap for supplying Flex MSE, JDA as the project architect, Perry and Associates for landscape design, and Kinetic Construction as the general contractor.

We can’t wait to see the hydroseeding and live planting bring this wall to life! 🌿
